Wine On A Dime is a new wine shop in Temecula, CA that recognizes the economic crisis we are in by offering $.10 wine tastings daily and heavily discounted prices on all wines, craft beers and ports. Now that’s awesome!
Don & Michelle Campini, long time residents of Temecula and former owners of Campini’s Deli, have really done it this time. From the moment you walk in the store and see the decor and are greeted by the staff with a smile, you just feel good. I can’t recall the last time I’ve walked into a retail store and am greeted with kindness.
When you can save an extra $3 to $10 per bottle as compared to the big stores out there, that’s a little piece of heaven in my opinion. If you are a wine consumer you’ll appreciate how much you can save over time by shopping here.
Their selection is wonderful and is constantly evolving. Craving a particular wine or vintage that they don’t carry? Don will work with his suppliers to obtain 1 bottle or a case or more as long as it’s available. Currently they don’t ship nor have an online ordering system. Heck, they just opened a month ago, so give it time and these things will evolve.
Events are planned, such as February 12th’s pre-Valentine Event with Champagnes & Chocolate. Future events include Italian Reds and Craft Beers. You can host your own event at the store. That’s a nice touch – think get-togethers, corporate meetings, educational tastings, etc. Email Michelle
I like their devotion to OneHope and their partnerships with multiple charities. They’ve prominently displayed these wines at the front of the store, be sure to pick one up before you leave. Great wine, great price and a great cause. You’ll feel good about it, I promise.
